"I just don't understand it" is getting to be a standard reaction of Mr. Miqati. It seems that he is always surprised at the reaction of the opposition whenever he believes that he - or his cabinet - came up with an achievement.

If anything, Mikati's "I'm surprised" and "it's incomprehensible" public statements are an indication of political immaturity. The negative reactions of an opposition are to be expected in a democratic country where healthy political debate is the name of the game. How would Mr. Mikati react in a "question and answer" session at British Parliament where refuting the government's claim for achievements is turned into a national sport?

Mr. Miqati should get used to being criticized and should learn to provide us with answers that are a little more entertaining than boring statements of indignation and incredulity.

Another uncomfortable reality for all you March14eens: The majority of Lebanon wants representational voting, Why shouldn't the majority have more power? Do you want to be Bahrain? You want to blame them and retain a system that allows a minority to block any progess. Maybe Israel can attack and weaken Hezbollah enough so Harari can get back in power then he and his cronies can do nothing and start stealing again. Wouldn't that be great?
