all hizbushaitan want is to keep its grip on Lebanon , whether that be through fear, money, and even civil war.
now that all the cards are played, let us see how long the new vicil war is going to last.
hizbushaitan did not learn the lesson from the past one.
there will not be a new taef accord whatever the price.
we already gave too much with the first one.
I am puzzled by the liar aoun: is his alliance with hizbushaitan protecting the Christians in this county or protecting him? this is all his doing. the blood of the Lebanese people was and will be on his hands.
by the way: has anyone heard from nasrallah lately? there are rumors that he has been sidelined?
we need to wait and see about this....
have you seen or heard from him lately? the others are talking but not him? has there been a coup internally?
OK. But why would he be side lined? why would there be a coup? why do you think this?
are they unhappy with him? is he too moderate? has he refused to do something?
no idea, but I have been hearing stuff, not cooroborated yet.
if you notice there is a new reply to UN declaration today regarding breach of 1559, and it is not nasrallah again.
usually he replies to such matters.
It's HA, only thing they care about is control. They just want the cake for themselves and Iran, lol the more I read it's always the same nonsense, I'm sure it works...in their minds.
We took over in a coup....and no matter what a mess the country is in, we will not do what is right. The Hezz can never admit defeat.
I was kind of surprised reading the title of this article. However, thinking about it more, the visit is normal and healthy. All Lebanese leaders and parties must be visiting each other and talking to each other to start with. Some leaders meet with foreign ambassadors and country delegates more than they talk to their fellow country mates.
It's about time guys...
Yeah, now they are trying to butter up Rai because their dominance is receding fast. Check this opinion article appearing in AlAkhbar first: http://nowlebanon.com/Arabic/NewsArticleDetails.aspx?ID=455005
Assad is a goner, nothing doing to keep him much longer. just a matter of the big boys agreeing a quid pro quo and he is out of there. Sergei Lavrov BTW might quickly follow Assad's exit since while his superiors - Putin - are more pragmatic he appears to be dogmatically attached to maintaining Assad in place. Beats me what's in it for him...
The only electoral law that is real representative of the Lebanese population which is mostly Shiite is the one Aoun, Amal, Hezbollah ministers passed in the cabinet a proportional representation with 13 districts divided in a way where the Shiites elect most MPs especially in the Cristian areas of Ashrafieh, Keserwan, Matn, Jezzine, Margej3youn.
@Phoenix
You are wasting your breath Sir,and the army is infiltrated enough we dont need more iranian recruits.
Our newly elected cardinal is lowering himself by hanging out with terrorists. The problem isn't the shari'a, but the false prophet Nosrallah.
Shut that filthy trap of yours Assesistance...everything about you and those you worship is dirt. Filthy farsi.....just look at you low-class posts!
Phoenix, what you wrote is nice but all wishfull thinking specially when we all know that will never happen since they take their orders from Iran which in turn doesn't care about the welfare of Lebanon and won't allow them to give up their arms, it's such a shame that they are willing to oblige and carry the orders of a foreign country on their home soil even if it means the destruction of their homeland, and they have the cheek to call themselves " 2ashraf al nass" but after all they are nothing but " KHOUWANA". i really pity their followers, they are so naive.

Thanks for positive comment the1phoenix.Hezb is moving in the right direction @least they are talking .Once Assad the dog is gone we will see different Hezb, unless Israel wants them to keep their weapons so the jews can keep on milking the US and cry victims..
we oppose the obstruction of state institutions........
Strange coming out of the mouth of those who specialized in obstructing the state institutions for years.
I wish they practice what they preach.
HezbAssassins have been indicted for murdering Rafik Hariri and 22 others, based on evidence. Further evidence also shows their involvement in killing George Hawi, and attempts against Murr, Hamade and Chidiac.
In any normal country, a group who has been indicted for murder would be suspended from government until the end of the trial. It is an outrage that HezAssassin is allowed to not only be part of the Cabinet but to also effectively control the government. Why the Patriarch would meet with a Party that has been indicted for political murders is beyond me. It defies all logic.
The fat rat bragged that they "survived" the indictments, because they were not kicked out of the government.
So the party responsible for murder, who also controls much of the security apparatus, including airport security, can continue with more murders, and influence the government to not release telecom data (which would implicate them further).
To all those that somehow support Hezbollah please tell us something good they have done for Lebanon? .. And don't start saying what did m14 do bla bla bla?... And u can't say they made Israel withdraw, cos that is a given... What have they done for Lebanon since Israeli withdrawal except whine and make trouble ?
You say it's a given, but that's the main reason why we need HA. We need their protection from Isr aggressions.
I understand for many of you this reason is not valid anymore since Isr left. But when you had your homes brought down and people in you area killed, and you see how Isr is behaving on the other side and how it is regularly sending its jets to visit...when you are close to all this, believe me it's a different feeling...
HA is not an ideal solution and yes they messed up (although we need to separate facts and extrapolations), but what alternatives do we have? Whose army is willing to confront Isr to protect lebanon? Until we have a viable alternative we cant let HA go..for our own safety.
And honnestly, when i see all these agressive and hateful comments, often generalized and turning to racism, i say gosh, we'd better hold on really tight to HA..
Solution: every Lebanese should donate 1000 lira to the Syrian reformists to eliminate the regime in Syria.
Making peace with Israel will eliminate the US government financial support to the jews and their military might in the middle east, hence no enemies exist any longer.
"Making peace with Israel will eliminate the US government financial support to the jews and their military might in the middle east, hence no enemies exist any longer."
There are over 45 Islamic/Moslem countries. Only two have peace treaties with Israel, so all the others would have to sign peace treaties before you can say no enemies exist any longer. (Even then there are plenty of problems between different Moslem States without Israel being involved).
AS far as US government financial support is concerned, doesn't the US (and many other countries) give financial support to many countries around the Middle East, including the Sunnis, Shias, Alawis, Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Druze, sorry I meant Lebanon.
you're weak... you insult people. well done, nice demonstration if Hazballah's fan base or shall I say followers (sheep).
I guess you'll be slaughtered for the next eid, too late for this one.
i agree with you fully, but knowing them, they would rather die than admit defeat, so i say, let them die, good riddance
so, so called resistance, when was the last time HA 'talked' to anyone without the implicit or explicit use of its arms? Aoun even complained about them 8 years ago and nothing seems to have changed. HA have to show that they are willing to actually talk without threatening anyone or any party, but since their positions are generally weak, they have been unable to do that.
Lol... No you are brave the resistance...
1- Your leader hides in a cave
2- You don't dare to fire a bullet in the direction of the Israeli
3- You accepted to back off behind the litani river
4- You are such cowards that you can't admit clearly your involvment in syria!
5- You hire the Mokdads to do your dirty work...
6- You are affraid to deliver your 4 members to the stl
etc...etc...etc...LOL
the1pheoenix... this is the aim for most lebanese including those "aouni" supporters. Hezballoh is strong, powerful and disciplined. I and most lebanese respect them. i do not fear them. Lebanese dont fear anyone! israel, usa, syria etc, we (lebanese) have all proven our pride and fearlessness!
hezbollah will one day converge with the lebanese armed forces. but they will not do so when we hate and beg for foreign help against our own people. Trust and belief in the republic of lebanon through dialogue will make this happen! refusing to talk with each other will only help move Lebanon towards 1975 palestinian war, though this time its syrians instead of Palestinians!
ado
I beg to differ with you.
- hizbushaitan was respected when they were really defending the country.
- when they turned on Lebanese in Beirut, they lost all respect.
- when they started executing iran orders, they became traitors pushing us to war.
- and now when they are asking for a price to let go of their weapons, they are the ennemy of Lebanon.
How can you expect neutral from a party that considers itself god sent? How can you expect neutral from people thinking they are the ghaliboun?
Enough said...
A neutral government is good for Lebanon, but not good for Hezb. That's why they reject it. And who says that their current position in the government is forever? Hezb- your game is up and it's becoming old on the tooth.
I still don't understand why can't the majority that won the last election be in the government, and let the others be in the opposition in the parliament like other democracies operate. M14 was very stupid to let the government switch to M8. And now, if they want it to go down, they should all resign from their posts, just as M8 did before.
