That's some opinion you have Josh. You really believe that Syria left Lebanon in a much better state then what France did.Im against all occupation but to compare a country that basically setup the majority of our modern day institutions with Syria who did nothing but rot and steal and divide these institutions and the Lebanese people is very strange.by the way,all the issues that Lebanon is facing now are the residue effect of the Syrian occupation, a weak army that had no bullets to fight terrorists in Nahr el Bared (which regime released the head of Jam3a Islamiyya), armed gangs within Palestinian camps,corrupt politicians, an army outside of the government's jurisdiction to name a few.These are all the byproducts of the Syrian occupation
