The latest news is that there are 3 known Israelis (I mean Israeli Syrian cross-border compatriots, of course) that the supposed Hizbullah fighters are also confronting. How cruel and criminal it is to kill all these innocent Syrians who are flooding into their homeland from many remote Syrian provinces such as Yemen, Chechnya, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Lebanon, Tunisia... I never knew that Syria was actually the Syrian Empire of the United Kingdom with provinces spreading all over the globe wherever bearded S..ni crazies and their filthy Je..sh brothers live.

Not ignoring the fact that HA fighters are well trained and ready to die for Nasrallah, but I must still moderate your bravado regarding their achievements. They are not in this battle alone, they are not even the main force in that battle. They are fighting alongside the regular army and Shabiha and supported by armored vehicles, tanks and air force. amazingly m8 are gloating about massacres ... in Syria. sick.
let us see what comes next:
- look at a map, and notice where are Damascus, qusayr and the Syrian littoral.
you will start to understand what is going on in Tripoli, and why hizbushaitan is arming factions there.
apparently the next step will be for the Syrian regime to annex the north to their mini state.
we are up for a huge war engulfing Lebanon on a very large scale.
and still m8 are gloating at massacres.

so do not try to spread lies and imagine things.
hizbushaitan are extremists to the teeth and they are traitors because they execute the orders of their Iranian masters. they are behind all extremism increasing in Lebanon due to their actions, assisted by the demented aoun who instigates sectarian hatred.
I have news for you: this will end up killing all of us and destroy everything good we know: does that make you happy simple mind?

The Hezb started by sending pilgrims to Syria, then to hand over syrian dissidents seeking refude in lebanon, then defending lebanese villages, then chiites in Syria, then holy chiite shrines in Syria (according to Lavrov!), then openly supporting the criminals in power in Damascus.

With the Hairi murder saga the style is even more subtle: They start supporting the STL, then accuse Israel of killing Hairi, and display some bollywood-dahyé film production to back their arguments. Then turn against the STL: false witnesses (where are they today!), unconstitutionnality of the tribunal, then use of a political trick, the vetoing third in government to resist any progress in the STL inquiry, then elevate the 4 STL designated suspects to sainthood, then stage a coup d'etat and takeover under veiled threat the government helm, then form a unilateral M8 controlled government, only to ask for a consensual one today once booted out of office! Phew ! A thousand times Phew on those dirty filthy scumbags, foul players. Day will come soon where they'll face a full laundry list, from all the serial killing and terrorist murders in Lenanon and elsewhere, to their involvment in Syria !

Thumb geha 12:38 ,2013 أيار 20

amazingly my post got deleted! why?
I said that you need to look at a map to see what is going on and what hizbushaitan and the Syrian regime are planning for us: i.e. to annex the north.
they want to create the alaoui area with our north, and this is why hizbushaitan is involved in this fighting, and arming the alouites of jabal Mohsen and some extremists they bought.
however this will not happen and we will have a long civil war.

So basically Bashar is implementing a strategy that seems to work: Instead of spreading his forces thin in an attempt to recapture all the territory that fell to the rebels, he is focusing on securing the link between Damascus and the mostly Alawite coast. Thus the focused offensive on Qusayr. So if Syria is faced with a de-facto partition, the Alawite nation is secured within a contiguous territory. In other words, there could very well be a scenario where we have a "little Syria" on our borders, controlled by Alawites and acting as a buffer zone between us and the "larger Syria" under the sway of the Sunnis. This is not necessarily bad: a weak little Syria would finally abandon the dream of swallowing our country.
What worries me though is that Hezbollah's overt intervention in Syria will bring the war here. Sunnis here might start an armed conflict with HA here, in an effort to relieve the rebels.

Thumb jabal10452 14:55 ,2013 أيار 20

Thumb jabal10452 16:47 ,2013 أيار 20

Mowaten, Homs is a must for Assad. The road from Qusayr to the coast passes through Homs! If Assad doesn't control Homs, Damascus is cut off from the Alawite hinterland even with Qusayr under his control. So my theory holds, so far. If in the coming weeks Assad starts moving his forces further east instead of consolidating his lines, then your theory would be correct. We'll just have to wait and see.

You can't 'consolidate' any thing. Just think how many times did the regime enter and leave dou a, daraya, joubar, etc, the refund can't consolidate in areas where demographics are not in his favor I.e 80 percent of Syria, say tyre regime enters qusair, how hard is it for febris to keep harassing it with hit And run? The regime needs 50 thousand troops to consolidate humus area let alone other areas, regime can bomb, kill, massacre but in the long run it is a losing battle. Ha today was definitely surprised by the fierce resistance of the Syrian fighters, just imagine the ha casualties few months from now, anyone who thinks this is a short war should have his head examined, like they say in Egypt: dkhul 7amam mish say khroju.
