المعارضة تستميت في الدفاع عن القصير وتجدد رفضها المشاركة في مؤتمر جنيف

تستميت المعارضة السورية في الدفاع عن مدينة القصير في وسط سوريا عسكريا وسياسيا، محاولة الصمود في وجه الطوق المحكم الذي فرضه الجيش السوري وحزب الله على المدينة، ومتمسكة بشروطها لجهة رفض المشاركة في مؤتمر جنيف 2، ما لم تتوقف العمليات العسكرية "لقوات النظام وايران وحزب الله".
وافاد المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان السبت ان "الاشتباكات مستمرة في شمال مدينة القصير، وان المقاتلين المعارضين يحاربون بضراوة، فيما عززت قوات النظام المواقع التي تقدمت اليها شمال المدينة وبينها مطار الضبعة العسكري والجوادية والبساتين في المنطقة".
واشار الى استمرار استقدام تعزيزات لقوات النظام، والى وجود "15 دبابة وكاشفات ضوئية وصواريخ حرارية موجهة يمكن ان ترصد اي سيارات تتحرك وضربها".
ويتواصل القصف المدفعي من قوات النظام على المدينة وعلى بعض المناطق في ريف حمص. وذكر المرصد بوجود حوالى الف جريح في القصير، مضيفا ان "الوضع الطبي فيها صعب جدا".
وحيا الائتلاف الوطني لقوى المعارضة والثورة السورية "أبطال الجيش الحر الذين يثبتون في كل يوم أنهم أهل للمسؤولية التي أناطها الشعب بهم، بعد أن سطروا أسمى آيات الشجاعة والصمود في ملحمة القصير التاريخية".
واضاف في بيان وزع على وسائل الاعلام السبت ان المقاتلين في القصير "اجمعوا على كلمة واحدة وتحت لواء واحد وهدف واحد، هو دحر الغزاة وطرد المعتدين وتحرير البلاد".
واكد "استمرار الشعب في نضاله لتحرير أرضه مهما كلف الأمر، وسيجبر حزب الله على سحب قواته من جميع الأراضي السورية".
وجدد الائتلاف في بيان آخر اصدره ليلا اشتراطه وقف العمليات العسكرية ورحيل الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد للمشاركة في اي مؤتمر دولي لايجاد تسوية للازمة السورية القائمة منذ 26 شهرا والتي اودت باكثر من 94 الف قتيل، بحسب المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان.
وجاء في البيان "يؤكد الائتلاف على أن رحيل الأسد والوقف العاجل للأعمال العسكرية لقوات النظام وحزب والله وإيران في سورية هي شروط أولى للذهاب إلى مباحثات جنيف 2، لأن الأسد لم ولن يحترم أي جهود لاتفاق مستقبلي، بل سيستدرجها لكسب مزيد من الوقت في التدمير والقتل والإرهاب المنظم".
وانتقد الائتلاف التصريحات الاخيرة للرئيس السوري عبر قناة "المنار" التلفزيونية التابعة لحزب الله والتي اقر فيها بمشاركة حزب الله في المعارك في سوريا واعلن "موافقته المبدئية" على المشاركة في المؤتمر الدولي المقترح من موسكو وواشنطن، واحتمال ترشحه الى الانتخابات الرئاسية مجددا العام 2014.
وقال الائتلاف "لم يتفاجأ شعبنا بما تحدث به بشار الأسد على قناة المنار اللبنانية، كاشفاً حقيقة يعلمها الجميع عن العلاقة العضوية الفئوية التي تربطه بحزب الله، وطبيعة دوره في المشروع الإيراني القومي المذهبي كممرر ومسوّق ورأس حربة فيه".
واستنكر "خطاب رأس النظام جملة وتفصيلا"، معتبرا اياه "خطابا طائفيا ذا أبعاد خطيرة"، ومنددا ب"الاستقواء بالدعم الروسي". واعتبر الائتلاف ان موقف روسيا "لا يستقيم مع دولة عظمى تشارك في ما يعرف بالمبادرات السياسية لانتفاء الحيادية والموضوعية".
وتمهيدا للمؤتمر الدولي حول سوريا، تتوجه الانظار الى الاجتماع الثلاثي الذي سيضم ممثلين عن واشنطن وموسكو والامم المتحدة ويعقد الاربعاء المقبل في جنيف.

I was reading on some international news sites that western intelligence had spotted more than 100 HA multiple rocket launchers in addition to heavy artillery pounding Qusayr. Add to this the syrian army's aerial and land bombardment and one can imagine the hell that is now called Qusayr.

Karim why do u hate all Qaeda? Qaeda attacked the USA. Not Lebanon. Hezbollah attacked Lebanon, invaded Beirut, put red lines to the army, invited Israelis to bomb us, and sclerosed lebanese institutions. Now The milicia is sending invitation cards to Qaeda to Lebanon.

Time is never on the dictators' side in an uprising. They might take Qusayr today but how will they hold it and how many "martyrs" can Hezbollah suffer? At the end of the day, in a year or two, Hezbollah and Assad will be so weak that Israel would have achieved its objectives without loosing a single soldier

Hizbollah are in a very difficult situation nowadays. They ( and we) know that if the Assad regime in Syria is defeated, they will be isolated and grow weaker with time. So sending in troops to Syria comes out of their fear of existence but that's quite risky as well, specially if battles like Qusayr take longer than expected. In this case there's a real danger of losing support withing their party so sending their fighters there was not an easy decision. The FSA knows this well and at the end, they may lose Qusayr but they are trying hard to make the battle last longer and inflict as much damage to HA as possible. Quite a complicated scenario.
