"The memo also criticizes caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, saying he neither represents Lebanon nor the foreign ministry."... well this something every one can agree on.

You don't need a meeting on that, it's already implied!

Thumb geha 10:27 ,2013

in the light of the current upcoming events, this statement bears a lot of significance for those who have some notion.

Wrong ... this is just more politics to hide the ineptitude and cowardice of M14. It is time for both M8 and M14 to shut up about Syria and do their job which is to govern Lebanon.

Lebanon is now rated among the top 20 most violent countries out of 162 in the study. Who will invest with those kind of numbers?

Lebanon's economy continues to slide in large part due to this violence especially in Tripoli. The violence has to be stopped.

The rhetoric of both M8 and M14 inflame passions over issues that will take years to decide while Lebanon withers from their neglect ...

No it is not wrong, and your comment shows how short sighted you are.
choosing not to get into a civil war to the extreme does not mea they are cowards as you say, rather, they are going all the way with the state, and not the law of the jungle.
about governing Lebanon: the country cannot be governed if and when one partner has constantly his gun on the table, imposing his will on others.
violence comes from weapons outside the state and we thank hizbushaitan for that.
our economy is sliding ONLY because of hizbushaitan involvements in Syria and bearing arms, while attacking the GCC countries on which we rely for our economy.

Thumb geha 11:05 ,2013

as for the rhetoric, aoun and hizbushaitan have been pushing the limits for month in this respect.
their comments and actions have inflamed all other sects.
re read this message and understand it, as I believe after this, if things do not change, we are going into a fierce civil war.

@ geha ...

So the HA is threatening the other parties not to stop the violence in Tripoli. The HA is threatening the other parties if they increase electricity, fix the roads?

M14 is a bankrupt political party ... they are now just a party of hatred in service to the KSA and the GCC who threaten Lebanon every chance they get. They have dragged Lebanon into the gutter ...

Thumb geha 11:32 ,2013

hizbushaitan is the suppliers of weapons to many groups of pro-Syrians in Tripoli and their involvement is highly documented with the security and army sources.
you want to talk about m14 financing? well explain to us the financing of hizbushaitan?
hundreds of millions are paid by iran each month to hizbushaitan.
btw, it is not about m14 now, rather it is about Lebanese against farsi.
As for dragging Lebanon into the gutter, it is clearly hizbushaitan by destroying each and every part of the state, and systematically trying to destroy its relationships with the west and the Arab world on which we rely in our economy in Lebanon.
they are doing everything in their power to cut all ties with all other countries and impose iran on us.
thus the Lebanese will never accept that and it will be the failure of the Iranian scheme to annex Lebanon.

geha ~ "the Iranian scheme to annex Lebanon."

HAHAHAHA ...

Thumb geha 13:03 ,2013

laugh while you can.... :)
m8 days are coming to an end soon.
now that the decision has been taken finally, how long do you think you will last?
today over 400 of the Syrian regime and their allies have been killed in Aleppo and more to come.
they are talking seriously now about a no fly zone...
do you think you can last?

Missing peace 13:28 ,2013

don't worry geha their laughs are nervous ones... they are biting their nails not knowing about their future...desperate people as shown by their arrogant and rude posts... let them laugh it is the last moments before they cry....

Thumb geha 16:38 ,2013

ft
how mush time you think the base of fpm will hold after being kicked out of the GCC?
you think aoun will not change course soon?
you are doomed and you know it.

Poor Lebanon

I would like to say something to everyone: Please keep your posts within debatable and respectable boundaries. To begin with, everyone must concede the point that Lebanon has always been a weak state regardless of which sect has the upper hand. And we all know from studying the phenomenon of weak states that militias arise to fill the vacuum of power when the state fails to fulfill its coercive apparatus,i.e protecting the security of its citizens. Although it is my sincere wish to see that coercive apparatus under the complete sovereignty of the future Lebanese state, I cannot sit idly by and read posts that are laden with propaganda, hatred and tribal mentality...is this how we are going to move forward? With all due respect to all of you, you want to rid yourselves of each other while hoping to see a unified, formidable, democratic state? Isn't that a paradox?

Moving on, long before the Syrian crisis a campaign against Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian resistance has been established by Western powers and their Arab allies as well as a deliberate attempt to undermine the Lebanese army as a pretext to facilitate this campaign in which the fall of the Syrian regime would translate into the fall of the abovementioned parties. I am against all tyranny, dictators sectarianism, and war. However, I am also against hypocrisy. Please no one try and convince me that the war in Syria is about freedom and democracy. Those who reject democracy and freedom on their own soil do not wish it for others. They want to free Syria from one tyrant and introduce a myriad of tyrants. Please wake up and whatever your differences in Lebanon hash them out without resorting to hypocrisy, hatred, and cancellation strategies.

I hope Dr. Dory Chamchoun al-Jabbar will be present because no meeting is complete without al-Jabbar.
