Then lets see what the experts say after finishing their investigations. Bombs and chemical weapons have district signature components that experts can trace to their origin. p.s. Why now all of a sudden care what the Vatican thinks or claims? Just asking.

Thumb Senescence 18:13 ,2013

banima3roof.., actually, I just googled "pope syria chemical vatican" and it was the first result, so.

Thumb souk-el-gharb 16:31 ,2013

can u prove the 2nd and 3rd point(vatican/western medias) or u just lying ?

Thumb Senescence 17:49 ,2013

Well, this is the most recent: http://rt.com/news/rebel-tunnel-damascus-chemical-940/ and another alleged chemical attack in Khal Al-Assal.

As for the 3rd point: http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/2013/08/23/vaticans_u.n._observer_urges_caution_on_reports_of_chemical_attack/in2-722168

"August 23, 2013 - Rushed judgments in times of war and conflict, especially by the media, do not always lead to the truth and will not bring peace, said the Vatican observer at United Nations agencies in Geneva"

""I have the impression that the press and media don't consider all the aspects that create these situations of violence and continuous conflict," the archbishop said. "

"We saw this in Egypt with the case of the Muslim Brotherhood, where indiscriminant support for them led to more violence." The only way forward is dialogue, Archbishop Tomasi said"

""We must not rush to judgment without having sufficient evidence," Archbishop Tomasi said"

funny how the west invaded iraq looking for wmd and let bashar is gazing his population easy peasy japanesey...

Thumb scorpyonn 18:47 ,2013

I was against the iraq invasion because i think it destabilized the Middle East- however, I would be all for an all out attack on Syria and Assad and a military action that would cripple Iran's government once and for all. You never allow cancer to exist- you eliminate it

Thumb scorpyonn 18:39 ,2013

Lol- wake up-- you are now sounding like your leaders in Iran who deny everything- when they deny things you know they are lying!

Thumb scorpyonn 18:42 ,2013

Obviously if the rebels had used checmical weapons the Syrian government would have welcomed and immediately alowed the UN team to investgate and made it easy for the world to find out who is at fault--but now the lying anf blame gane starts--- a calling card of the Iranian governemnt who know how to keep lying-- they even lie about their own lies!!!

Thumb Senescence 18:48 ,2013

Well what if they were stolen from government depots? Rebels hold a bit more than half of Syria.

And the government I think would like it more if the UN inspectors investigated alleged rebel chemical attack in Al-Assal instead of diverting their time and effort into something that may possibly incriminate them in light of the world media smear campaign.

Thumb Senescence 18:58 ,2013

"Now their favorite government on earth the Syrian one"
Lol, +1!

"the army found barrels marked 'made in Saudi Arabia', they also found other barrels marked 'these chemicals were set off by the rebels'. All reports indicate that the rebels attacked their own area, also some of the dead had shot themselves in the back. It all makes sense. I'm not sure why anyone is arguing especially when you find barrels marked that way.

Thumb Senescence 20:47 ,2013

americanlebanese, agreed. I'm hoping for an article regarding the matter tomorrow here on naharnet.com.

Made in Saudia Arabia and Made by some Qatari company as well. Al-Qaida has recently also embarked on ventures regarding chemical weapons at the request of a close group in 'another country' (i.e. Syria) and even had made rockets and model aeroplanes for their payload. Not to mention US intelligence regarding Syria chemical weapons depots contradict what was witnessed on the streets.

But the world media needs to be supportive of the majority of middle easterners at least in terms of religion. It's neither about justice nor diplomacy, but about real politik.

Thumb scorpyonn 21:57 ,2013

Lol- if indeed your assertions are correct, I would not put it past Iran, the world's best liar and weasel, to send their own stuff and say that it was made in Saudi Arabia or Qatar! Get a grip, they are expert liars and think they are smarter than anyone else!

Thumb cedre 21:46 ,2013

@ endless : the link u posted does not prove SOUTHERN affirmation that vatican and western medias accuse rebels for CW attack.
So here u have another proof of qom-goebbels-style big lie.
Same with FT claiming that UN proved that nusra used CW. I asked him for sources and I'm still waiting...

Thumb Senescence 03:28 ,2013

cedre, what was written was:
"* the vatican claims that Syrian Gvt is not the one who could be favoured of using chemical weapon and never will do harm the civilian. " and not "vatican and western medias accuse rebels for CW attack."

And you can google the other claim yourself, lots of articles from credible news outlets.

If the baath nazis want to come out clean they HAVE to cooperate with international investigators. It is technically and scientifically very easy to proove who , who and where used chemical weapons. No point in blablabla declarations that convince nobody. If Hizbollah wants to proove they are innocent in Hariri's killing (and many others!), they have to provide counter evidence against the mountain of forensic proof accumulated against them! If Iran wants to proove they're not planning to acquire a nuclear bomb, they have to cooperate with the UN inspectors and convincingly proove otherwise. Anything else is only self-indictment !
