سوريا سلمت منظمة حظر الاسلحة الكيميائية جردا كاملا بترسانتها

استكملت سوريا تسليم جرد كامل بترسانتها الكيميائية فيما تنتهي اليوم السبت مهلة في هذا الصدد حددت بموجب اتفاق جنيف بين الاميركيين والروس لتفكيك اسلحتها الكيميائية كما اعلنت منظمة حظر الاسلحة الكيميائية.
وقالت المنظمة التي يوجد مقرها في لاهاي في رسالة بالبريد الالكتروني الى وكالة فرانس برس "ان منظمة حظر انتشار الاسلحة الكيميائية تؤكد انها تسلمت القوائم المرتقبة من الحكومة السورية بخصوص برنامجها للاسلحة الكيميائية".
واضافت ان "الامانة الفنية (للمنظمة) تقوم حاليا بدرس المعلومات التي تم تلقيها".
وكانت المنظمة اعلنت الجمعة ارجاء اجتماع لمجلسها التنفيذي كان مرتقبا الاحد للبحث في تفكيك ترسانة الاسلحة الكيميائية السورية.
وينص اتفاق جنيف الذي تم التوصل اليه بين الاميركيين والروس السبت الماضي وادى الى تجنيب سوريا ضربة عسكرية كانت تهدد بها واشنطن ردا على هجوم كيميائي وقع في 21 اب في ريف دمشق، على ان تسلم سوريا خلال مهلة اسبوع جردا كاملا بترسانتها التي سيتم التخلص منها بحلول منتصف 2014.
ويحاول دبلوماسيون في الامم المتحدة اعداد مشروع قرار يضمن التزام سوريا بالاتفاق لكنهم بحاجة اولا للوثيقة التي تحدد ما وصفه وزير الخارجية الاميركي جون كيري "بقواعد واسس" تفكيك الاسلحة التي ستوافق عليها منظمة حظر الاسلحة الكيميائية.
واثر اتفاق جنيف طلبت سوريا الانضمام الى معاهدة حظر الاسلحة الكيميائية. وسيقوم خبراء المنظمة الان بتحليل الجرد الكامل الذي قدمته دمشق من اجل تحديد جدول زمني واقعي لاتلاف المواد الكيميائية وانظمة التسليم ومنشآت الانتاج.
وبموجب الاتفاق بين واشنطن وموسكو، يجب ان ينجز مفتشو منظمة حظر الاسلحة الكيميائية عمليات التفتيش في مواقع اسلحة سورية وتدمير معدات الانتاج والتعبئة بحلول تشرين الثاني.
لكن التوافق الدولي حول الخطة لم ينعكس على مفاوضات تحديد صيغة مشروع القرار الدولي الذي يجري اعداده في مجلس الامن.
وتجري الدول الخمس الدائمة العضوية في مجلس الامن (الولايات المتحدة وروسيا والصين وبريطانيا وفرنسا) مشاورات مكثفة حول مشروع القرار منذ الاثنين في محاولة للتوصل الى موقف مشترك.
وتريد الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا وفرنسا قرارا قويا يشير الى اللجوء الى الفصل السابع الذي يجيز استخدام القوة في حال عدم التزام دمشق بتعهداتها.
لكن روسيا حليفة دمشق تعارض اي اشارة الى استخدام القوة.

Correct. In fact, Mubarak Hussein Obama in no uncertain terms made it very clear the U.S. will no longer take a leading role in world affairs, specially Middle Eastern foreign policy. For your sake, make sure that when Russia or another second grade super power, like Iran, starts policing the affairs of your corner of the world have a clear and clean human rights record in their own country.

Yes there was resistance before HA, it was the PLO/Leftists/SSNP/Nasserites/.... and everyone who was and still is against a thriving State of Lebanon. I wish the Lebanese believe in the sacredness of their land and eliminate all sold out politicians with allegiances to foreign powers.
