Syria Seeks Recruits for Police Band

The interior ministry in war-torn Syria is advertising for musicians to join the police band, state news agency SANA said Tuesday.
"Citizens who know how to play an instrument and have completed their education to age 16 can audition to join the police band," said a statement.
The auditions are to be held at the police academy in the capital's eastern district of Qaboun, more accustomed to the sound of cannon fire than to drums and trumpets.

LOL -nice trick to bring in soldiers. First you join the band and under contract, you will do what the police or army ask you to do - They will say everyone will get military training and once that's done they will them, your country needs and no band at this time.
