Eight people were killed and 50 wounded in a bomb blast Wednesday that hit Hijaz square at the heart of the Syrian capital, state news agency SANA said.

"Eight citizens including two women were killed in an explosion caused by a bomb placed by terrorists at the entrance to the Hijaz railroad company," SANA said, using the regime's term for rebels.

More than 50 wounded, among them women and children, were taken to hospital for treatment.

Also wounded were several train station maintenance workers, said SANA.

Damascus has been hit by frequent blasts, most of them caused by mortar rounds, in recent months. The regime blames rebels for the attacks.

This is cheap and intellectually lazy a usual from Southern, here Syrians are killing Syrians. For years the terrorist Syrian moumana3a regime killed Lebanese in Lebanon using this same method, Nasrallah thanked them for it. Even after the Samaha/Mamlouk plot to blow up Lebanese and blame the "terrorist extremists supporting the revolution" was uncovered Nasrallah still supported the terrorist regime. There is no difference between the regime and the extremists, what some extremists threaten us with the regime already did to us, but at least the opposition to the terrorist regime in more than just extremists.

If anyone is the extremist here it is you southern. With your brainwashed regurgitation of your masters instructions. Why should I forget the past? Did Syria apologize for its actions in Lebanon? Did Syria return or disclose the location of the missing persons? Did Syria treat us as equals and stop interfering in our affairs? Have the stopped the assassinations? How about the bombings and attempted bombings? Do if smaha is found guilty you will bring the Syrian govt to justice for ordering and facilitating it?

Bombs hit tripoli as well. It was none of your or your masters concern. He helps the same people that orders and carried it out. A Sri Lankan maid is more Lebanese than you.

You seem to be stuck in the ignorant rhetoric you are trained to spew. As I mentioned the extremists are part of the opposition to Assad, he wants us to believe that all who oppose him are terrorist extremists. He maintained that he was fighting terrorists from day one when there were none. He even had create footage of them at the beginning. Assad's insistence on killing the peaceful demonstrators of the first 5 or 6 month brought about the extremists, he's to blame for the extremists gaining more power. Putin, Sharaa, Ali Akbar Salehi can backup my statement.
The Damascus blast is in Syria where there is a civil war thanks to Assad's stubbornness. It was clear my business is to remind those who want to listen what the regime you defend did in Lebanon, no one here was spared, not even Dahieh. But you seem to think Dahieh is not in Lebanon, I disagree with you.

Samaha isn't the past, the Tripoli bombs are not the past, but they are reminders of the Syrian regime's past actions in Lebanon and how for thirty years it excelled in fanning the flames of sectarian strife.

Digging into the past? This is the present and to me, and anybody who truly deserves to be called Lebanese, Syria is on par with Israel as the enemies of Lebanon. One did NOTHING different than the other. And if you and your leaders stop your hypocritical garbage you would see it. But you are blinded by the propaganda that you whole heartledly gobble up. Next time why don't you copy paste from the HA handbook? It would save you the trouble of typing and looking like you have an opinion.
