Report: Army Monitored Bekaa Car Bomb, Seized it without Any Assistance

The Lebanese army had monitored the movement of the black Buick rigged with around 350 kilograms of explosives and seized it without any help offered by any side, media reports said on Tuesday.

According to As Safir newspaper, a security source denied reports saying that a specific party helped the army in seizing the explosive-laden car.

On Friday, the army defused the Buick vehicle, which was located between the towns of Maqne and Younine in eastern Bekaa, and rigged with a large quantity of explosives.

The source told As Safir that investigations are ongoing, pointing out that key details were uncovered.

An Nahar newspaper reported on Monday that the assailants of the explosive-rigged vehicle have been arrested by Hizbullah.

The army command has said in a terse communique that the car was seized by soldiers, without giving further details although media reports said the car was also carrying mortar rounds and a high-tech remote control that triggers the explosives through a phone or a suicide bomber.

Despite the conflicting reports, An Nahar confirmed that the Buick was heading to Beirut through the international Baalbek-Homs highway.

This story keeps getting stranger… Surly all will become clear once the suspect that was gloriously arrested by the Iranian militia is question by the authorities. But Hizbullah should make sure the suspect does not fall into the un-lawful hands of the ISF… right momo :-)

what is the difference between the terrorist act committed by this guy and his friend, compared to the terrorist acts of hizbushaitan and m8 yesterday at USJ?

Thumb _mowaten_ 26 November 2013, 11:24

southern: if he can't see the difference between a peaceful, harmless protest, and a terrorist attack that kills tens of people and mains hundreds more, then he's beyond any words we can tell him. he's sinking in hatred and debilitation.

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 11:42

peacefull?
hahahahahahah.... :)
you are sick guys if you really believe what you say :)

Thumb _mowaten_ 26 November 2013, 12:39

as i said, if you can't tell the difference between that and a terrorist attack, there's no point in trying to talk to you.

Thumb FlameCatcher 26 November 2013, 14:15

@Southern : it's funny how no M14 elements went to beat up your demonstrators and shoot them in public.

You should learn some things about that !

The criminals and cannibals you mention are Hezbollah ! May they rot in jail or hell !

geha, you're spamming the blog. You've posted one post several times. Couldn't you imagine something to write?
I told the difference is the availability of Lebanese casualties, which is a pity, but it seems that you preffer! Change the Holy Lebanese flag by the flag of your payer - KSA! It would be vissual to all whom do you love!

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 10:52

OK to both southern and dimitrov:
the bombing of the Iranian embassy is a copy of the bombing by iran of the Iraqi embassy in Lebanon, which took then the lives of 60 Lebanese people.
what goes around comes around.
and what you fail to see, is that actions of hizbushaitan leed to reactions.

Thumb _mowaten_ 26 November 2013, 11:30

and you think your actions dont lead to reactions? what a naive and childish view you have. would be cute if you werent so full of hate and justifying/rooting for murder and war crimes, while talking as if you were an angel.

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 11:50

mowaten
you are beyond redemption :)
your stupidity is now legendary on this site.
when will you start to understand what is written?
read my above reply and then answer if you care to do so :)

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 11:48

who are you to let me be on this forum or not?
Now to be clear to your sick mind: show me and others where I am advocating for murders?
just twisting facts does not make what you say correct.
in my post I simply show that terrorism of this sort came from iran to Lebanon, and now it is backfiring on iran and its followers.
takfiris are another side of the same extremist Iranian coin.

Thumb FlameCatcher 26 November 2013, 14:17

When your Ghanam students paint a graffiti of the killer of Bashir, who's advocating murder ?

You Ghanam Terrorists and murderers!

Missing Dimitry 26 November 2013, 11:18

But _geha you're seeing that equalize painting graffiti on walls to killing Lebanese people!
Anyhow you all were probably in liquid condition when Gemayel was killed for signing a treaty with Israel, but there are a lot of rummors aboout it! I do not admire his killing, but it seems that you all are drunk thinking that anything could be improved in Lebanon or Syria by assasinations of innocents!
One thing you have to remebmer from me geha, the Duty always washes the dirty hands! Don't be so blind!
Finally - I am not russian, but I an an Orthodox! As the Orthodox were available and imagine the Cyrilic alphabet, long before Russia was established!

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 11:53

I do not care less about killing bashir, rather I do care about how he was killed: in a terrorist bombing.
his murderer is harbored by hizbushaitan! is that enough to be said?
now let us go back to the reason why bashir was killed: he was killed because he represented the hegemony of Christians over all the others.
now nasrallah is in the same position, but on the other side: hegemony of shia over the others.
would bombing nasrallah be justified in your eyes?
would you accept that the perpetrators of such a bombing to be hidden from justice?

Missing Dimitry 26 November 2013, 12:21

Who told you that Gemayel has been killed because of representing any hegemony against others?
No my dear little friend, the reason was of the treaty with Israel, which he tried to use against the unnotified war of Syria against Lebanon. Does anybody tell you, who has invited Haffes al Assad to bomb Beyrouth in 1983? Definetely not Nasrallah! Anyhow there is one thing which I have never understand neither during my time there, nor later! Why you hate each other, but say that you are Lebanese? I'll tell you one thing - Lebanon would become a country, because now is only a teritory with influence of different factions, ONLY when all Lebanese start to love each other, not to be happy when some infidels die!
Otherwise soon you'll be either of KSA or of Qatar property!

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 12:23

your views are too simplistic to understand reality apparently :)

Thumb lebpatriot777 26 November 2013, 13:55

It seems some people here are too blinded with hate and are cornered so they spread lies in the hopes of deflecting their ultimate demise. Don't worry Geha darling, Hizbollah is fair and just. Behave darling....

Thumb geha 26 November 2013, 15:16

please have the decency to change your name to iranpatriot as it is more truthfull, then maybe we will take you seriously :)
you are just a bunch of cowards trying to force your will on the Lebanese people.
I have news for you: you are failing dramatically.
