The relatives of a Palestinian man shot dead in the southern refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh blocked on Sunday main roads to protest his murder, the state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday.

NNA said Wissam Abul Kel, a member of Fatah, died after masked men shot him near the camp's grocery market.

Members of his family blocked roads in al-Fawqani neighborhood and held a protest, it said.

The Palestinian follow-up committee held contacts to bring life back to normal in the area, NNA added.

Ain el-Hilweh, the largest Palestinian camp in the country, is home to about 50,000 refugees and is known to harbor extremists and fugitives.

FT - The main cancer in Lebanon is the Hizb and the many militias it spawned. As for gassing, this is the specialty of the monstrous regime in Syria and we as Lebanese will not allow this to happen on our land.

Come on FT we should not loose our humanity mate! That's uncalled for really. If they are lawless it's because the have been left boiling on the hob for ages. Those camps should be properly policed by the state. Loads of families women and children live there in the most awful conditions. Not defending them really but it doesn't take many thugs to tarnish a whole community's reputation.

Trust me FT I am aware of the problems we have and have always had with the camps. I am also well aware that they have definitely overstayed their welcome. However exterminating them by gassing them as you mentioned is an awful way to deal with ultimately humans... Yes the Arab States have failed us and the Arab people. They are nothing but self obsessed, money hungry, immoral excuses for human beings.

Lebanon is a sinking ship but the reason for that seems to be us. We allow this to happen and rather than stick together we antagonise each other we increase sectarian tensions and we kill each other. We do not need people to kill we are great at doing it to ourselves.

We need a miracle and let's hope we get one.

Hope you're enjoy the weekend mate
