Small Paraguay Plane Kills Three during Emergency Landing

A small plane making an emergency landing in Paraguay crashed into a motorbike, killing three people while the pilot survived and fled, police said Wednesday.
The tragedy took place on a local road 100 kilometers (60 miles) south of the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, Amambay department, on the border with Brazil, police said.
The dead were a young woman, 19; her two-year-old child; and another adult woman, police said, adding that the pilot survived and was being sought.
The small plane had an expired operating license, they added.
