Iran's Rouhani Warns those Using 'Threatening Language'

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned Friday that those using "threatening language" against Tehran would regret it as the regime faces increasingly hawkish rhetoric from the new US administration.

Rouhani was speaking at a march attended by hundreds of thousands of people in the capital marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.

"This turnout is a response to false remarks by the new rulers in the White House and the people are telling the world through their presence that the Iranian people must be spoken to with respect," Rouhani said.

"Iranians will make those using threatening language against this nation regret it," he said.

"Anyone threating Iran's government and armed forces should know that our nation is vigilant."

US President Donald Trump has taken an increasingly strident line towards Iran since taking office last month, warning that it was "playing with fire" and "on notice".

Last week, he imposed sanctions on Iran over a January 29 ballistic missile test and officials warned more might follow.

Last weekend, new Pentagon chief James Mattis described Iran as "the single biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world."

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that Trump's policies showed "the real face of America", a country long derided by the regime as the "great Satan".

I have a lot of respect for many posters on the forum but one in specific comes to mind: Mr. the_roarr. He has proved beyond shadow of a doubt that he is a part-time commenter and not a full-time paid commenter.

I respect him immensely, I just do.

Mr. Rouhani has just earned my respect for first being a Phd. holder which he never held and second for warning those Using 'Threatening Language' simply because warning and threatening are two completely different languages.

"Iranians will make those using threatening language against this nation regret it," he said.

Investigate the links of any coming terror attack (God forbid it from happening) to Iran.

We should not forget the threat of the syrian regime mufti hassouna (May God humiliate this hypocrite) who threatned europe with terror attacks before the recent terror wave in europe took place by isis. That fake mufti would never dare to say that without the approval of his regime employees.

Who can honestly claim to be surprised if it turns out that the syrian regime had their own isis cells?

This does not mean that all of isis and it's likes is the syrian regime so bringing up any fighting between the two is irrelevent.

We already know that terrorists are used by certain regime-tied security so why would the syrian regime who is from the filthiest regimes on earth be any different?

The syrian regime benefitted a lot from isis joining the war as they both have the same enemies.

Didn't maliki himself ask bashar to stop destabilizing iraq a few years ago?

Thumb Mrowwe 10 February 2017, 15:36

But even if bashar admitted it himself and came up with a bogus explanation like "i did it to fight israel", it still wouldn't change the support of his dumb supporters.

Funny enough nobody supports bashar naturally, they all do so for an external reason. Shiites do it to empower their sect. The old arab nationalist men do it because they think he is protecting the arab nation from israel (lol), the syrian christians do it because they think he is their only option for survival etc and they are all willing to ignore and even deny his major crimes as long as they see him as their ally.

But nobody actually supports him simply for being a good leader who creates jobs, housing, protects women from being abused by their husbands, fights rape, is pro-environment, builds great health care, fights corruption, does humanitarian work etc. In fact, he does the opposite of all of that yet he is worshiped by some dumb selfish people who have proven to not fear nor respect God nor his creation yet they pretend to be against terrorism. Sadly, even when they condemn terrorism, their agenda is to attack saudi arabia, turkey etc and not for being principled about being against the unjust murder and destruction regardless of who is behind it.

This is all just the usual takia and drama that Iran spews. Means nothing, and as usual is far from any truth or action whatsoever.
