Qaouq Says Hizbullah Has Offered Concessions on Electoral Law, Urges Others to Follow Suit
Hizbullah central council member Sheikh Nabil Qaouq announced Sunday that his party has offered “concessions” for the sake of reaching an agreement on a new electoral law, urging others to follow suit.
“Time is running out and the margin for maneuvering has ended. Lebanon will be at a crossroads two weeks from now. We either head to the abyss or we rescue Lebanon and take it to the safe shore,” Qaouq warned.
“There is no time left for maneuvers and wrong calculations and there is no escape from a settlement among the political forces and from an agreement on a new electoral law,” Qaouq added.
“Out of its keenness on rescuing the country from the political dilemma that may threaten accord and social and economic stability, Hizbullah has offered the possible concessions in order to open the door to political consensus over a new electoral law that ensures correct representation, and the rest of the forces must offer new concessions in order to overcome the dilemma,” the Hizbullah official went on to say.

why ya terrorist? We have an existing law that is as good as it gets and one that you and the fpm hailed as a breakthrough after your armed take over of the country following the May 2008 divine invasion of Beirut.

exactly! and why should the country be heading to the Abyss? In 2009 there were elections according to an election law and the country survived and life goes on. Why the threats?
Also, I would like to know what concessions did his iranian party make since he keeps talking about concessions?!

Iranian CEO Saeed Karimian shot dead in Istanbul
Saeed Karimian, 45, was shot dead in the Maslak neighbourhood, along with his Kuwaiti business partner.
The vehicle used in the apparent assassination was later found burnt out. Turkish police are investigating.
Mr Karimian had previously been tried in absentia by a Tehran court and sentenced to six years in prison for spreading propaganda against Iran.
