Hizbullah's al-Manar Airs Footage of Avivim Attack

Hizbullah's al-Manar TV on Monday aired footage it said showed a missile attack by the group against an Israeli military vehicle the day before.

The video shows a missile being launched towards a moving armored vehicle before an explosion sent large clouds of white smoke into the sky.

"The first Kornet anti-tank missile is launched at the target and then, from another position, a second missile is fired to ensure the target is destroyed," a voiceover said.

The target, which Hizbullah identified as a Wolf armored vehicle, was 1.5 kilometers from the Lebanese-Israeli frontier and four kilometers from the launch site of the first missile, al-Manar said.

Hizbullah on Sunday said its fighters had "destroyed a military vehicle on the road to the Avivim barracks, killing and wounding those inside."

Israel's army said it had responded with around 100 artillery shells after Hizbullah fired two or three anti-tank missiles at a battalion headquarters and military ambulance, hitting both.

Israeli officials refuted claims by Hizbullah that it had killed and wounded those inside the military vehicle, saying there were no casualties.

Sunday's exchange of fire over the Lebanese-Israeli border came one week after Hizbullah accused Israel of carrying out a drone attack on its southern Beirut suburbs stronghold.

On August 24, Israel also said it had carried out strikes in Syria to avert an Iranian drone attack on Israeli territory. Hizbullah said those strikes killed two of its members.

Israel has carried hundreds of strikes in war-torn Syria, mostly against what it says are Iranian or Hizbullah targets.

Yes, all this propaganda and they only damaged the tire of an Israeli vehicle.

Two things strike me in this video: 1. The first missile miss its target (by purpose?) and gives the IDF-soldiers the chance to exit the vehicle before the second one hits. 2. Look how green and well kept the israeli side of the fence is compared to ours.

Both missiles explode in front of the armored vehicle. Either they can't aim. Or they did it on purpose, scared of a retaliation...

s.o.s zionist, you forgot the fact that An Nahar is a Lebanese newspaper, regardless of their affiliation, they are in Lebanon and Hezbollah is a political party in Lebanon.

We are not living like U.S and Europe like the rest of you.
