A soldier whose relatives blocked the only highway connecting the capital to southern Lebanon on Monday to protest his “disappearance” has showed up one day too late for work, state-run National News Agency reported.
“He had been missing from his home since yesterday morning over personal reasons,” NNA said.
A group of young men from Barja, the hometown of Lebanese army soldier Ali Ibrahim Ghosh, blocked the highway near the Jadra intersection in both directions a day after he went missing, the agency said earlier on Monday.
Lebanese army units later reopened the highway.
But while the residents were blocking the road, a speeding BMW hit four people identified as Ayad al-Khatib, Salem Hamiyeh, Mohammed Damaj and Mohammed Terro, NNA said.
They were slightly injured, it added.

thats what they get for blocking roads....next run em over with a truck!

That's what happens when there is no authority for the state... everybody wants think they can do what they want when they want with no respect to the law or the rights of other citizens...we either want a proper country or we don't!

the filthy zionist information war department is in disbelief because of speed and efficiency by which our people from the south organize

Jabalamel ur an idiot .. I wish 'your' people from the south could organize themselves better to confront the daily killings in Syria and those politicians in Lebanon that have been hampering the application of the law and covering up for criminals for the past 5 years ... oh wait, that must be the filthy Zionist information war dept again, wait does that mean that ur a zionist too!?
