Al-Rahi Slams Hizbullah as 'Army Belonging to Foreign State'
Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi on Sunday lashed out at Hizbullah without naming it.
"We cannot claim to be preserving sovereignty while keeping the (illegal) border crossings open wide, and we cannot support legitimacy while accepting the multiplicity of weapons and the contempt of institutions," al-Rahi said in his Sunday Mass sermon.
We cannot accept "the creation of an army belonging to a foreign state, as a top official of that state has acknowledged," al-Rahi added, referring to Hizbullah and its regional backer Iran.
He also criticized "alignment with regional axes that contradict with Lebanon's interest" and those refraining from "defending the investigative judge and the judiciary" over the Beirut port blast case.

RAHI is absolutely right. Lebanon will surely get rid of this foreign-backed militarized fanatical organisation, sooner or later, God willing !

Instead of directing his arrows at Huzbullah, why doesn't he state clearly that his own man, Aoun, who is purportedly a maronite, is leveraging Huzbullah thus allowing it to control Lebanon and change its fabric and shape in the future? This corrupt Aoun would sell his own mother for a dime!!! As a Christian, I believe the Maronites had always been the cancer of this country, and what better than Aoun to prove my theory.

They don't have an army, sell drugs for survival, kidnap, assassinate, beat up like thugs and brainwash an entire sect who even after 40 years of their being still live in avid poverty. I'm sure you'll agree.
