Al-Rahi urges state to protect Rmeish residents under Resolution 1701

Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi on Sunday voiced regret over the clash in the southern border town of Rmeish between Hezbollah members and town residents.

"We urge the security agencies to perform their duty of protecting and reassuring our sons, so that they feel that they belong to a state that protects them and guarantees their safety and freedom to work in their land, under U.N. Security Council 1701, which prohibits any armed forces from being present in their area,” al-Rahi added in his Sunday Mass sermon.

We need another UN task force to protect the Lebanese . This can’t go on forever, the people are terrorized by the Iranian funded terrorists.

God bless Shia approved Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi for calling upon our Shia resistance aka Hezbollah to reassure our sons (and daughters) that they belong to a state that protects them. Our Shia resistance has always met the expectations of its people and always holds itself to high standards of accountability.

Shia Shea Shia !!!

Ansarullah, how many women are there in your terrorist organization? I’ve never seen a zinab firing an rpg , how come? Is it because shiism is misogynistic? Are women only good at comforting men and housekeeping? Shame on your backward ideologies!

The entire country needs to be dissolved. Make it a French Overseas territory administered by France with the appointment of a so-called French Governor. France has many overseas territories what's adding another one. Make the EURO the official currency. We keep our language our traditions, our media, tvs, newspapers and all that. But no Lebanese will have any "government power" or role in anything.

Enough is enough. We live in jungle right now.

Lebanon must request that the UNSC impose penalties on any party that violates 1701.
