Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has met with a senior Hamas delegation led by Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of the Palestinian movement’s political bureau, Hezbollah said on Sunday.

According to a Hezbollah statement, Nasrallah and the delegation discussed “the latest developments in occupied Palestine, especially the heroic and brave resistance in the West Bank and Jerusalem.”

They also tackled “the domestic events in the usurper Israeli entity, the political developments in the region and the responsibilities of the resistance movements and the entire Axis of Resistance in this historic period,” the statement said.

According to a recent article in an Israeli publication, it has been reported that both Hassan Nasrallah and Benjamin Netanyahu were not privy to the Iran-Saudi negotiations that took place in Beijing. The implications of this development are significant, as it suggests a positive shift in the dynamics of the Middle East.

Furthermore, the fact that both were not consulted on such a crucial matter indicates that their influence and opinions on the international stage may no longer hold the same weight they once did.
