Salam: We've removed arms from over 500 depots in South
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced Tuesday that “the time has come to build the state,” describing it as his government’s “top mission.”
“The pillars of my government’s vision are regaining sovereignty and guaranteeing security and stability across Lebanon,” Salam said at a reconstruction conference.
“We are working on regaining control over all of Lebanon’s entry and exit points, especially the Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut, and we will work on opening the Qlayaat airport,” Salam added.
“We have removed arms from more than 500 depots in the South, boosted security at Beirut’s airport, and we will work with the diplomatic channels so that Israel halts its attacks on Lebanon and withdraws from the five points,” the prime minister went on to say.
He also said that his government is working with the international community to “secure a safe return by the Syrian refugees” to their country, and that it will devise a “fair law for achieving justice for bank depositors.”

Five Critical Mistakes Proving Salam Supreme Injustice & Unfit for Office:
- Rehabilitating Berri (most corrupt & Faustian Duo deal causing more harm to Shia than Hizb) instead of pushing Amal to elect new leader on path of the great Imam Saddr
- Not putting Hizb leaders in prison for their documented crimes & give ultimatum to disarm (negotiate with a criminal organization is the joke of the Century)
- Giving all Shia ministerial positions to duo (unbelievable mistake – worse than Russian Roulette)

Gebran c'mon man "most incompetent in history?" Give them time, they're dismantling an apparatus that's been there for 20+ years in less than 6 months. It's a tricky political process where failure means civil war. If you go in all blitzkrieg on shiaa communities it's a real risk of internal fracture. You go slow, then you pull the band-aid quickly, no? Either way, zero foreign funding unless they disarm so it's a matter of time, let's be patient here

Salam-Aoun had unique opportunity no one else had. They could have simply pushed Amal to replace corrupt Berri with a true heir to Imam Saddr for the domino of liberation to start. Rehabilitating Berri & Hizb & Ignoring Free Shia in government position is beyond stupid. Too weak & incompetent. Look at Jordan actions! There will be no civil war. It is a lie we hear often. In a confrontation btw army & HizbIran, Shia will be first to volunteer with army to eradicate this cancer that has been a curse on Shia. Hizb will quickly lose as it has no allies whether the entire world will be behind our army. Hizb support is similar to Assad, 95% with arms, zero without; Great leader with autocratic rule & indoctrination machine, a disgusting assassin when disarmed. Hizb committed more crimes than Assad & Shia will dance in streets when disarmed. It is OK for our Army to suffer few casualties to win our freedom. These will be our true martyrs and the price we pay for true independence.
