I bet they were driving recklessly... They always do on that section of the highway. I'm not even going to mention how many times I saw people driving against the traffic. They are irresponsible as they put their lives in danger but more importantly they put other ordinary drivers' lives in danger.

It's sad to say that the smart people of Lebanon drive like people from a 3rd world country!Driving is a privilage that should be earned! God bless the dead and may they rest in peace.

the car was being repaired on the side of the road, and the guy who caused the accident is a hizbushaitan high ranking.
2 cars from hizbushaitan came immediately to remve the arms that were in the car and take the guy to a hospital.
in short: thugs, thieves and murderors.

Sounds like geha told us the truth, its been reported like that in several media now.

Missing misha 27 February 2012, 04:30

@benzona...if geha was at the scene, then he should have said he was there instead of using this as an opportunity to spew his political opinion, this accident has nothing to do with politics. so, Respect THAT!

What is worth of all this, and is very tragic, is that there is no effort whatsoever, and has never been in Lebanon, any effort to stop reckless drivers by the police and the fancy "highway patrol" that was donated by the US and warn them of their responsibilities!

Is police surveillance also a political problem in Lebanon? Why are the "authorities" so absent from the roads and even participate in its fawda? Why is this never discussed on TV programs? We responsible drivers have rights too! What does it take to move this government a revolution like in other Arab countries?

when I see how some guys jump to conclusions and start their attacks ...:)
Anyway, by now I think you know the real facts, and what I said is correct :)
the hizbushaitan guy should be arrested and put in jail since he killed the woman, but .....
and they say they are not using their weapons inside the country , what a laugh.
by the way, have you heard too about the car thieves story in dahye???? check it out and I am sure you will agree with me that hizbushaitan claims of being over any reproach are just BS :)
