Berri meets Issa for second day in a row

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met Thursday with U.S. Ambassador Michel Issa in Ain el-Tineh, for the second day in a row.

On Wednesday, Berri met with Issa and a delegation of the American Task Force for Lebanon.

After the meeting, Issa said that Israel differentiates between the Lebanese government and Hezbollah and that the negotiations with the government don't mean that the war on Hezbollah will stop.

Local al-Jadeed TV channel said that the American delegation warned Berri during Wednesday's meeting that the U.S. will cease to help and cooperate with Lebanon if the government fails to disarm Hezbollah and to carry out economic reforms by the year end.
