A top Iranian security official on Friday warned U.S. President Donald Trump against intervening in protests gripping the country, saying it would "destabilize the entire region".

"Trump should know that any American interference in this internal matter would amount to destabilizing the entire region and harming American interests," Ali Larijani, who heads Iran's highest security body said.

Iran later warned against any US intervention in the country.

"Any interventionist hand that attacks Iran's security under any pretext whatsoever will be exposed to a response," Ali Shamkhani, an adviser to the supreme leader, wrote on X. "Iran's security is a red line."

Smart. Pissing off the one lunatic standing between Netanyahu's jets and Khamenei becoming minced supreme leader meat.
