An unknown group hacked on Friday several Lebanese government websites.

The hackers posted a caricature on the home page of the websites depicting a skinny man, representing the people, feeding a fat man described as the government.

Text messages were circulated saying that the picture defines "the poor and hungry people feeding the rich government.”

The hacked websites included the General Security http://general-security.gov.lb/ , Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants http://www.emigrants.gov.lb/ , Ministry of Economy http://economy.gov.lb/, and Beirut http://beirut.gov.lb/ .

The service of most of the websites was restored by midday.

Lovely. Lets just hope they didn't steal any sensitive information such as the hezbollah's terrorist leader whereabouts.

Bigdig and jcamerican seem to be 1 and the same. Same style, same conviction, same bias. Maybe oe day, we all will mature intellectually, and will stop being sectarians, and are ruled by our emotions.
