State commissioner to the military court Judge Saqr Saqr charged on Monday four people with smuggling arms to Syria, the National News Agency reported.

The four charged include a Syrian national, according to NNA.

Media reports said that the smuggling operations along the Lebanese-Syrian border have recently increased through illegal border crossings.

The border area is used by smugglers and by Syrians fleeing the violence in their country to Lebanon.

Lebanon and Syria share a 330-kilometer border but have yet to agree on official demarcation.

Saqr also indicted Moustapha Jamil Z. for collaborating with Israel and referred him to the first Military Examining Magistrate.

Good judge

We also have weapons smugglers that are used against other lebanese civilians, do something about it if you want to remain 'credible'. Deux poids deux mesures pauf tâche.
