President Michel Suleiman is expected to visit Syria after the adoption of the cabinet’s policy statement and parliament’s vote of confidence, the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat reported on Friday.

Suleiman is reportedly said to visit Syria to meet his counterpart President Bashar Assad.

Sources told the newspaper that the Syrian president sent an official invitation to Suleiman to visit Damascus during the last telephone conversation between the two men.

On Monday, Assad telephoned Suleiman to congratulate him on the formation of a new cabinet led by Prime Minister Najib Miqati.

The sources noted that the Lebanese president’s visit will be an occasion to express solidarity with Syria and support its stability.

In no way, shape or form this pitiful president represents me or any free Lebanese. Today he crossed the line and has become a marionette in the hand of the Syrian and Iranian tyrants and their agents. I've never felt so disgusted by the whole political class of corrupt politicians that will sell their soul to any tyrant for political expediency. Does human rights mean anything to you? Do you believe in freedom and democracy? Shame on you, you have lost the silent majority for good and you are an insult to all our martyrs!

Lebanon and Syria are condemned to fight the same ennemy , the same fundamentalist fanatic salafi wahhaby , that wants to turn Bilad el Sham ( as they caal it ) into a Sunni Salafi EMARA , where no other than them can live in it as a normal citizen .

Christians , Alaouites and Shiias , and others , will be under Dhimmis . Is that what you want you stupids insulting your president ? Your Hariri era is over , and your Hariristan trial will open soon ... Wait and see .
