Speaker Nabih Berri has expressed comfort at the support of regional and major powers for the dialogue held between Hizbullah and al-Mustaqbal movement.
Berri told his visitors that he recently received a message of support from the Egyptian foreign ministry, in addition to the positive reactions from the U.S., Saudi and Iranian ambassadors.

The head of the parliamentary public works and energy committee MP Mohammed Qabbani said he was informed by Prime Minister Tammam Salam that he would call for meetings to agree on two oil exploration decrees.
“There is an agreement on not having more delays in the oil file. There is a serious move” to resolve it, Qabbani told al-Liwaa newspaper in remarks published on Wednesday.

Speaker Nabih Berri snapped back at politicians doubting the success of the dialogue underway between Hizbullah and al-Mustaqbal movement, urging them to “relax.”
“The wheels are turning and they won't stop,” Berri said in remarks published in local newspapers on Monday.

Prime Minister Tammam Salam emphasized on Saturday that officials' main concern is the election of a new head of state.
He said: “There is a need to unite stances and elect a president as soon as possible.”

Speaker Nabih Berri and Free Patriotic Movement MP Michel Aoun have resolved their dispute over the oil file, reported the pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat on Saturday.
It said that the two sides agreed to issue contracts over the oil fields adjacent to the Israeli blocks after the speaker had warned that the neighboring state could exploit Lebanon's offshore wealth.

Speaker Nabih Berri voiced on Wednesday his satisfaction with the dialogue between the Mustaqbal Movement and Hizbullah that was held on Tuesday.
He hoped that the talks would be expanded to include other forces.

Prime Minister Tammam Salam expressed hope on Wednesday that the dialogue between Hizbullah and al-Mustaqbal movement would contribute to the election of a new head of state.
Following talks with Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi in Bkirki, Salam said he had high hopes that talks between the rivals would create some kind of “reassurance” for the Lebanese people.

Al-Mustaqbal movement and Hizbullah held their first, long-awaited meeting in Ain al-Tineh on Tuesday evening under the auspices of Speaker Nabih Berri, in an attempt to devise a “roadmap” and a “mechanism” for the coming dialogue sessions between the two parties.

The Change and Reform bloc welcomed on Tuesday “any dialogue between the political forces in Lebanon.”
Former Minister Salim Jreissati hailed after the bloc's weekly meeting the expected Mustaqbal Movement – Hizbullah dialogue, saying that bloc chief MP Michel Aoun had been open to the Movement.

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale announced Tuesday that his country stands ready to assist Lebanon in “the transformation to an oil and gas producing country.”
