NFL: League files Appeal over Deflategate Decision

The National Football League has filed its appeal of a U.S. judge's decision in the Deflategate case which pitted New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady against commissioner Roger Goodell.

The league's opening brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit questions the decision by Judge Richard M. Berman on September 3 that vacated Brady's four-game suspension.
