geha: how about m14 and hariri? wouldnt your words of wisdom apply to when they decided to get involved in the rebellion in syria? sending weapons, fighters, letting them use lebanon as a rear base for attacks, isnt that what got us to that point today? you can;t be so biased all the time, sometimes you need to open your eyes.
also, regarding your question about "what will happen when the syrian regime will fall? "
first i would say "if" the regime falls
and second it is obvious: the saudi-controlled salafi and akhwen will restore syria's domination over lebanon, and impose their sectarian hatred on us. it's not just the shiaa who will be affected, the christians are in the same bag, as well as the druze, the orthodox, and even the moderates sunnis who will have to submit to strict sharia rules.

and i just hope the future will not prove me right, because if this happens it will be the start of a very, very, dark age for lebanon, which we may not get out from before a very, very, long time.

phoenix: dont rush to conclusions based on "sources said.... check the article, there is not 1 reference to anyone specific, nor any verified or verifiable element.
hezbollah might have gotten involved, and they might have not. this report is too hollow to comment on.
however in the mean time, and this has been confirmed by many elements -including their own announcements and declarations- the saudi/m14 bloc in lebanon has been actively involved in the syrian conflict. they openly admitted sending weapons and fighters.

personally if i had to guess (and that's the most we can do based on current elements), i'd say these reports are untrue.
first because assad still has hundreds of thousands of loyal soldiers, so he doesnt need hezbollah's men. and if ever he needed reinforcements, the pact of mutual defense with iran enables him to request iranian troops backup. (and here there is no comparison with the few thousand men Hezbollah has, iran can send half a million men if they wanted.
second point, from hezbollah's perspective, getting involved in syria means weakening its positions in lebanon, and i'm pretty sure they are expecting an israeli attack anytime now. that would be a strategic mistake they would never make.

you're not even lebanese harrier, it really shows and obviously you don't care about what would happen to lebanon. actually you do care, but as an israeli ben zona, and you're burning with the desire to see us hit the ground. you and your likes have had it too easy, for too long, but now the wheel is turning, slowly but surely.
