arzak this is irrelevant. the rebels have been bombing and massacring civilians all over syria, from kurdish villages, to aleppo, to damscus and homs. how can you support that?
they blew up hospitals http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=4a7_1346715971
and they even blew up mosques WHILE CHANTING ALLAH W AKBAR http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c63_1353633490
these are sick freaks, and they bear responsibility for most the dead in this civil war they started
assad accepted "free fair and internationally monitored elections" more than a year ago. but under those the rebels, mainly comprised of freaks and syrians who havent lived in syria for decades, could not get the power they seek in all this blood. so THEY refused. check your facts mate.

they announced downing planes a dozen times already, now they say this is the first? could they have been lying all that time? OMG, please guys don't be too depressed, quick quick, find a way to justify the lies to yourselves!
arzak it is way too easy to blame bashar for what the rebels are doing. from the first days in deraa there were attacks on police stations, courthouses, and baath headquarters. 7 policemen were killed in the very first days the whole thing started. it is hypocrisy to ignore what the rebels did at first, and all the accusations that bashar was repressing brutally only came from one source: rami abdulrahan, who we now know beyond doubt that he has a political agenda and is in now way "an observatory".
the houla massacre for instance goes waaay back, and all seems to indicate it was done by rebels, not by regime.
the regime has been pulled into this confrontation, because this suits the clique of orgymen who are all in this together (saudi/qatar/israel/USA/turkey)
also, there is now documented evidence that the rebels are the ones who bombed hospitals and mosques with the explicit intention of blaming bashar. please see the videos above.
i say again, i have no particular sympathy for bashar, but those behind the rebels are ten times worse. if you really are lebanese (not casting doubt, but over internet we never know) and you love your country, think for a second what would happen if those who placed their flag on our martyrs' statue (while bombing civilians by the hundreds to "punish" them for not turning against their leader) took power in syria.
no arzak, he never opposed monitors, and the rebels didnt even ask for that, they simply ruled out any negotiation and brushed out the new constitution before it was even drafted.
and yes in the past he has had very high voting in his favor (not 99.9% however) but this was when there were no opposition parties and he was the sole candidate. if rebels trusted their popular support really exists, they would have said okay, let's do elections under international monitoring, and at that point the entire world, including russia, would have put its weight behind them.
eh eh. so if the total dead is 40,000 (according to rami abdulrahman in london, but yea wtv) and assad alone killed 40,000 people. it means the armed people in front, with their foreign sent weapons, their bombs blown up in civilian areas, their mass massacres, and their self-filmed throat slicing, killed an astonishing number of.... 0 people.
bravo mohammad, you're redefining the laws of maths.
