you're just shoving your head in the sand with all this wishful thinking. you know very well how people think in lebanon and how they vote. sunnis who elect a certain christian MP in zahle are not voting for the person, they are voting as instructed by Future Movement. denying this is either being naive or pretending to be it.
the result is that christian MPs are not chosen by christians, while sunni MPs and shia MPs are both chosen by their respective sects.
why would shias and sunnis chose their own MPs and chose the christian ones too, while the christians barely have a voice?

you're the one whining, if you dont want to vote why do you care anyway? lots of wishful thinking and big empty catch phrases in your comment. yes politicians should be ideal beings who only care about the universal good and not their personal interests, yes voters should free themselves from clan and sect mentality and vote rationally, but it's not the case.
yes, reality sucks but you have to deal with it, and do the best you can with the existing conditions.
