how about for once we judge on results?
we just went though 20 years without any investments in the electricity, the public finances were being plundered and bled dry anyway, and corruption was rampant yet none of you complained.
what i dont get, is why is it now that someone is actually doing something about it, that you people suddenly woke up and started worrying about some alleged corruption?
i'm just guessing here, but maybe there's some sort of logic around it. our finances and banking system are mainly linked to the gulf = sunni, so maybe there's some sort of unspoken agreement
i didnt blame anything on the sunnis, if mentioning the word sunni is now a crime then bite me.
in the mean time dont go too bezerk on things i didnt say, just take your xanax and read again what i said:
i spoke with precautions (saying i'm "guessing" and using several "maybes") of an eventual unspoken "agreement", not conspiracy.
what i'm saying is if our main counterparts in financial matters are sunni countries, and having a sunni finance minister had any positive impact, then why not?
sorry to say benzona, but seems like you're getting ripped off ! i live outside beirut, in an area where we sometimes get just 3 hours per day in summer, yet the worst i ever paid was about 100$ for 5Amps. and that was about two or three months in the year, the rest of the time the bill is about 20,000LL to 40,000LL
