The plant is 1500* MW! And I think you can't just add them up as the vessels will be used during the time it will take to build the plants. So it's more like 270MW now (not much, maybe a few less hours of cuts per day?) and 1500MW when the plant is ready.
For the power generation in Jounieh and Jiyyeh i dont know...
Oh according to an other article here (http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/34972-miqati-praises-cabinet-session-says-electricity-decisions-averted-a-crisis)
"Lebanon has long suffered from electricity outages because of shortages at its power plants whose maximum capacity is less than 1,500 megawatts but the country’s actual need exceeds 2,300 megawatts."
Which means with an extra 1500 we will have a total capacity of 3000MW which exceeds current needs and leaves some room for growth.
ridiculous!!! hezbollah & al qaeda!?? THESE TWO HAVE NOTHING TO DO TOGETHER! as moronic as they associated saddam to al qaeda to justify invading iraq! the american people needs to wake up, they're being played with like kids by those warmongers
uff falanges aggressively (and vulgarly) defending saudi! aint that a sweet love story? must be the manly bonding in maameltein creating all these *deeep* feelings
trigger: hopefully they build the new one, then repair the old ones, sounds obvious that they're not going to shut down all power plants at once...
also, they said that "no party emerged as a victor or vanquished" which goes with what you're saying that there shouldn't be a winner and a loser, but rather that "All Sides Emerged Victorious" as indicated in the title.
