divided or not is not the only factor, even if you want to keep it "basic". you can attack a divided country if you want to conquer it for instance, it actually makes it easier, and doesnt prevent it. but i feel we lost the initial point here... i was saying if we keep silent when bombarded we invite more attacks, what was your point?
"dont answer by greatpierro said that..." hahah are you seriously telling me what i can or cannot answer?
i was talking to pierro and you came into the discussion, so i was reminding you where my point was coming from.
now about your question of what israelis should do, since you insist, i think that they should give up on their ideological crusade and dreams of ethnically cleansed, kosher-only eretz israel. the day they accept to live here among the people who were here before them for thousands of years, as equals, we shall all have peace. as long as they don't they constitute a threat for the whole area: we never know when they decide to expand, or decide to expel more palestinians into our country (lieberman was virulently calling for that and had quite some support in israel, the day he gets a majority behind could be not so far), or when they decide to hit the regional competition on the back of the head (competition can be on tourism, industry, resources etc...)
i know very well what happened, but you seem to be forgetting they were, and still are, occupying parts of Lebanon, and had lots of lebanese rotting in their jails since decades when they got attacked.
shebaa IS lebanese! how can you as lebanese give up your land this way!?
and FYI everybody agreed it is lebanese, including syria and the UN

"Israel withdrew from South Lebanon yet Hizb started installing offensive weapons i.e. missiles and bunkers." oh really? you dont think you missed a few episodes in between? it took decades of resistance for israel to "withdraw" (rather got kicked out) from south lebanon
and you can't compare lebanon with egypt and jordan it's completely different matters. first egypt is too big a chunk for israel, it's much easier for them to try to expand towards lebanon than toward egypt. plus lebanon has a lot of water, which is nowhere to be found in egypt (at least until you reach the nile) nor in jordan.
additionally jordan surrendered and was turned into a refugee camp for palestinians. jordanians are now a minority in their own country
and here go the israel fan club. if you guys claim to be lebanese you should be ashamed of cheering israel, you are like sheep, cheering and rejoicing when they hit your neighbor and forgetting the days when it was you they were hitting on.
instead of standing united against the common enemy you let yourselves be divided and weak, and lower your head when the blows come, hoping they will have mercy on your sorry behinds..
pathetic.
rejoice while you can, this is how things have been for decades but times are changing, not thanks to you bunch of cowards and losers, but thanks to the proud people who chose dignity at all cost, and they will have their day
