Nasrallah: Retaliation to al-Quntar's Assassination Will Inevitably Come

27 December 2015, 18:16

Imagine 1979... It might be better to ask the people from Ras El Baalbek and Al Qaa what they think. Not commentating on Hezbollah in Allepo and other areas of Syria further away, but ask anyone from Lebanese villages that are positioned along the Syrian border what they think? Even ask the villagers from Dier el Ahmar, who are mostly pro LF (Dr Geagea) what they think! You know its more about the enemy of my enemy then anything else and the reality is all of Lebanon has the same enemy in Al nusra and ISIS and you only have to look at what happened in Akkar.

Al-Rahi: Distinction Must Be Made between Accepting Presidential Initiative and Proposed Candidate

27 December 2015, 18:58

Humble... The LF (Dr Geagea) are the biggest objectors to Suliman Franjieh becoming president! The Kateab is also against his presidency but not as much. The FPM (Aoun) is not against or for his presidency and have concerns as to why and how he was so quickly supported by the Mustaqbul movement without consultation, given he is M8 and a "brother" of Bashar el Assad! The reservations by the maronites are not able to be ignored. So if you think that the only problem is with your "corporal", then you are simplifying the whole problem of how the President is chosen by the usual suspects... Berri, Jumblatt and hariri... the same people who have help decide lebanese politics for the past 25 years !!!!!!!!!

no your not wrong. I agree. So why not mobilise the nation? The LAF should take control of the republic and relieve the nation of these useless positions! A general mobilisation enforced and dissolution of the parliament. New electoral law introduced and new general parliamentary elections given a date to allow the Lebanese to vote their reps back in! The current parliament is essential a parliamentary coup! Give back the government to the people! The new parliament then can elect the President!

Shehayyeb: Politicians Should Keep their Disputes Away from Trash File

13 January 2016, 14:34

The government alone is not responsible? Haram, the government is not alone responsible for the most basic service to the people? What is the government responsible for then? Is there anything that the government alone is responsible? Not security or defense. Not trash or electricity. Not health or education. Not public roads or infrastructure? Then what the F$#% is this government responsible for? Taking our taxes and paying our politician salaries? Certainly our politics never miss a payment! You thieving dogs!!!

Geagea Says he's Not Maneuvering in Endorsing Aoun Candidacy

13 January 2016, 14:46

Mystic. Geagea feels betrayed by Hariri, yes! But this is Deja vue 1990s when he was betrayed after Syria took out Aoun in 1991! This time he has realized earlier that divided we fall! I hope we can all unite against the thieving foreigners who have never lived in Lebanon. Who's allegiance is to foreigners or who's allegiance is to those that pay or guarantee their fiefdoms.

The killers of Tony Frangieh are still not truly known! Suliman Franjieh is objected to only coz how he was appointed by foreigners!

France, Britain Warn their Airlines Would Stop Services to Beirut

13 January 2016, 15:01

The Beirut International Airport should be managed by tendering out to international companies that are experienced in operating a 1st class terminal! I am embarrassed to go to the toilets. The shop attendants are rude, arrogant and lazy. The security is adequate but the customs agents are friendly and professional (especially the female custom agents). The international airport is the face of a nation and Lebanon is embarrassing! Don't get me started with the rude MEA baggage and check in attendants! I can't complain more about the state of the dimly lite, stinking toilets! Tfeh!!

What was the point of my bitching? Oh yeah... That is the main problem in the airport, not the security!

France, Britain Warn their Airlines Would Stop Services to Beirut

Does anyone remember or even know that the Beirut International Airport use to be the main terminal for the Middle East? Dubai was still a desert... Doha was desert and didn't even have an airport.... The Concord landed in Beirut on its 1st international tour of the world! Beirut was the only stop in Middle East! Those of you who don't know or have forgotten... Lebanon was THE ONLY airport, tourist, banking, liberal and stable country in the Middle East! Now we are a joke and the desert bedoins, who couldn't even read and write, have replaced Lebanon while we live in filth as rubbish piles up, Israel steals our gas and the "Arab" world uses us a refugee camp!
