He declared the shebaa farms syrian and not lebanese and attacked hezbollah's telecom network which led to the 7 may 2008 battles. he then sided with syrian allied lebanese. when the syrian civil war began, he then declared the syrian government crazy and evil. Now he is trying to make peace again with the syrian government.
