Islamic Jihad Member Says Hizbullah Providing Quds Brigades with ‘Significant Help’

16 March 2012, 16:50

Geha. My interpretaion of the naher bared incident is... When nassrallah spoke of a red line, it was because of the obvious attempt at sectarian war. Fateh el Islam is a salafist, financially backed by the Saudis. I think that it was an attempt to avert the sectarian tension within the Muslim community. Maybe I'm wrong, but at the end of the day, these terrorist were rooted out. Just as every non Lebanese militia should be. Every inch of Lebanese territory should be controlled by the Lebanese army.

I as a Christian Lebanese, want only the state of Lebanese to control all arms in Lebanon. But to do so means to build trust and support our fellow southern brothers and sisters who have sufered greatly at the neglect of the central beirut government for years.

It's now our responsiblity to build trust and show loyalty with our brethren, if we have any chance of building our state. Hezbollah is powerfull and orgainized and we should take advantage of their achievements.

Army Demands Palestinian Factions at Ain el-Hilweh to Hand over Head of ‘Takfiri’ Network

Skyfall, I agree with most of your comment. But to bomb a camp where most that remain would still be brainwashed innocent civilians is wrong. The reasoning and dead line would most proberbly not reach most of the civilians.

Barak Warns about Hizbullah’s Nonstop Plans to Target Jews

20 March 2012, 17:37

Prime suspect, if hezballah owes you money, then what does Israel owe you? What does the USA owe you, as it was their freely donated weapons that Israel uses? Hezballah is the effect, then who is the cause?

Who does not want a free Palestine? If it weren't for Israel, we would not have hezballah, nor the palestinain camps in Lebanon, nor would we have had 16 years of civil war!

March 14 Youths Urge Suspension of Classes Thursday in Protest against Antonine University Incident

22 March 2012, 01:41

Maroungeorges. Benzona is not a Maronite, he is Sunni. Nevertheless, religion and sects should be left to the home and places of worship. This is a private Maronite university, if they want to pray, surly these is a mosque not more than a km away.

Kesrweneh, much less that 30%. The batrak has never taken sides in politics and has only said he is concerned about the fate of christains in the middle east, which has also been confirmed by the pope in his confirmed visit to Lebanon.

He has never taken sides in the Syrian crisis, but has rejected attempts to portray the crisis as a democratic, peaceful protest against an evil government. No one claims Assad's government as good v evil. But they are against the idea that the opposition are good v the evil gov.

He has called for peacefully negotiations that have been regretted by the opposition and accepted by Assad. Those who are demonising the Maronite church will be regretted by the masses. "March 14" are not against the church, only geagea is. Even those die hard LF suporters are now deserting the "hakim". No bigger example than dier hamar.

Geagea Denies Crisis in Ties with Bkirki

25 March 2012, 20:05

Just as Aoun's FPM, suffered in popularity by their memorandum of understanding with Hezbollah, so too will geagea suffer with his attack on the batrak. The difference is that the FPM were 70% of the Christian vote, while geagea is only 25% at best. With his core base of supporters dissalusioned by his attack on the Maronite church, and most of his allies (kataeb) distancing themselves from his rant, he has allot of work to do to continue to be relevant.

Cedar, those against the batrak are the same people and parties that were against the Lebanese army in the 60s and 70s and 80s. They are the same people that scream their anti Syrian sentiments in 2005 but were the biggest supporters and benifactors of Syrian occupation of Lebanon from 1990. They are the same people that will most proberbly want Syria and lebanon to be united when a "opposition" comes to power. And then there is geagea and his remaining post anti batrak, supporters.

LoL. Now al Qaida works with hezballah... Someone better tell the uncle of the 911 terrorist, Mustaqbul MP Jarrah, that he made a mistake and should join Hezballah. :)
