what was the 'crime' he committed again?? aiding the syrian refugees? meanwhile we do have names of 4 suspects who committed an atrocity in beirut in 2005 and they are roaming free. You can't treat people as 3rd class citizens, they will start their own mini countries just like hizbustan in da7iye

im really curious as to what "crime" did mawlawi committ?? there is no crime, i dont know ther guy but i am sure this was just another name wanted by the syrians that their slaves in lebanon arrested for them. The only evidence is that he is very active in helping the syrian refugees and they wanted to make an example of him. Get your facts straight.

the STL, a court endorsed by the world community, issued arrest warrants for 4 suspects in the terrorist act that killed hariri and many others in the capital beirut in 2005: they are still at large and under the government's nose. Mawlawi is not accused of COMMITTING an act of terror, he was arrested to make an example of him for his activities in aiding the syrian refugees. The rest is feritales to justify the arrest. This is the government that refuses to give out telecom data in assasination attempts. This is the lebanon of 1st and 3rd class citizens. This is the lebanon where Fayez Karam, guilty of capital treason, is let go from jail after one year while others stay in jail for years without trials. This is how oppression mounts and how civil wars begin.

the assad regime is already dying, some die of heartattacks, others die slowly of cancer, the russian/chinese chemio therapy will keep the regime alive long enough to make a deal and shape the future of syria without the assads and his cronies. There was no charge against mawlawi for an ACT he did sir, the truth is he was arrested for being active in helping the syrians in lebanon and they wanted to make an example of him, you will see how they will let him go at the end of the day cause they have nothing. They did not predict any serious reprecussions as they thought it was business as usual. I'm not defending anyone here, but how on earth can you trust a government that clearly covers up for 4 suspects in the murder of a prominent suni leader? the point being, there is no credibility. Another issue, it is also naieve to expect that people in lebanon will not eventualy take up arms when you have a sect armed to the teeth and intimidating the others. Everyone should be equal under the law, until that happens some folks won't take shit no more.

Mawalawi gained the sympathy of all the suni sect precisely because the allegations are mere fabrications and there was no terrorist ACT committed by the man. Hizbustan will approve the release because they do not want to lose the government. They wanted to make an example of those who help the syrian refugees and they did not realize the political price for such a blunder.
