We hope that hizbustan changes their position with regards to the Syrian revolution because whether they like it or not when the dust settles the revolution is the future of Syria and betting on the regime is a strategic blunder that only sows more hatred. Such reconciliation would spare us the grand inter-islamic civil war that no one wants. I hope we see a historic suni-she3a reconciliation in lebanon in the years to come as well. That scenario is much better than going through another civil war of biblical proportions only to make peace after.

If serious US pressure was applied for regime change in march-august 2011 when the revolution was still largely peaceful all the violence that we are seeing today would have been averted. This is the result of having Israel's love for Assad in western calculations. It is too late now, the genie is outside the bottle, after 12000 killed the violence in Syria is irreversible and there will be revenges for years to come even if the regime goes tomorrow.
