I TOLD YOU SO!! This is not even a shift in the U.S. policy. The U.S. never ever wanted a regime change in Syria, simply because for them the alternative is worse.
Yeah, this is why you ruled alone for months with a government without Shiite participation and you passed hundreds of laws and took dozens of decisions by yourselves, including the STL.
If you hate being a minority now, just wait until the next parliamentary elections and see.

@peace: it seems you did not and do not want to read the British Sunday Times article I suggested to you, in which the live correspondent describes in details how gangs armed to the teeth attack both the army/police and civilians to create casualties. Yes, there are Salafi gangs in Syria being paid and armed by US proxies to destabilize Syria. But it is not working, because the legitimate, peaceful opposition is being given the attention it deserves.
