التحقيق في نهر بيروت "الاحمر" جارٍ والخوري: مجاري الانهر ليست مشاعاً كي لا تُحترم

تحولت مياه نهر بيروت الى اللون الاحمر أمس الاربعاء، ما كشف مشكلة بيئية خطيرة فكلفت وزارة البيئة فريقاً متخصصاً من دائرة مكافحة تلوث البيئة السكنية في الوزارة برئاسة بسام صبّاغ للكشف على مياه النهر واعداد تقرير عن أسباب تلوثها.
وأفادت اذاعة "صوت لبنان" (100.5) أنه تبيّن من نتائج الفحص الأولي للمادة الحمراء التي صبغت مياه نهر بيروت انها ليست دماء بل مواد صناعية تستخدم في عملية الصباغة وتتضمن مواد عضوية وستنقل هذه العينة الى مختبرات الجامعة الأميركية لاستكمال التحليلات.
وكان قد أكد وزير البيئة ناظم الخوري أن "أي تعدٍّ على مواردنا الطبيعية غير مسموح وأن مجاري الانهر وشواطئ البحر ليست مشاعاً كي تُستباح ولا تُحترم". وقال أن "مثل هذه التعديات هي التي دفعتنا إلى إقرار مرسوم إنشاء نيابة عامة بيئية لملاحقة المرتكبين الذين يتعدون على الطبيعة".
وأعلن أنه "لم يتم تحديد سبب التلوث بعد لأن المصدر هو مجرور مقفل، لكن يرجّح أن يكون المصدر من بلدية الحازمية أو بعبدا".
وطلب الخوري من بلديات الحازمية وبعبدا والجوار التعاون بأسرع وقت لتحديد مصدر التلوث ونوعيته، مشيراً إلى أن "الاحتمالات هي أن يكون هناك مصنع رمى أشياء ملوّثة، أو مسلخ، أو مزرعة غير مرخّصة تضع ملوّثاتها في شاحنات وصهاريج وترميها في المجارير".
وشدد الخوري على ضرورة مقاضاة المسؤول.
وأفادت مصادر من الفريق المكلف بالتحقيق، صحيفة "السفير"، أن لا رائحة للمادة، مرجحاً أن تكون دماء أو مواد كيميائية او أصباغاً. وقد تم أخذ عينات من المياه لفحصها.
وقد واصلت شرطة بيروت تعقب اللون الأحمر في مجرى النهر من مصبه في البحر وصعوداً الى قناطر زبيدة في محاولة لمعرفة مصدر المياه الحمراء.

Mon Dieu, je n'aurai pas cru que vous étiez pourvu d'une conscience et encore moins d'une fibre écologique. Pour en revenir à votre pertinente remarque, cela me paraît fort peu probable dans notre pays. Il suffit de voir la déchèterie à SaÏda... Qui existe depuis 5 ans et qui n'est toujours pas utilisée à cause d'un contentieux à deux balles. Quand il n'y a pas de volonté politique commune, l'Etat fait dur surplace. Mais l'Etat, c'est qui? C'est nous! Et aucune de ces raclures au pouvoir ne me représentent...

Obviously our sea nowadays needs to be all cleaned out...we have the world's best shore and the worst poluted one...I beleive that the hard part now relies on the ministry of environment.

the environement ministry exists only to appear civilised and pretending to care, but it has nothing to do with preserving the environement! just to give a ministry to someone and please his party that s all...

Handle this quick , whoever it may concern. Lebanon cannot remain falling into the abyss like this. Red diesel scandal, no electricity, rivers of blood ,shit or chemicals, politicians betting on sides without anything sure. People living in extreme poverty whether sunnite, chiite or druze, and of course, lebanese immigration every year. If only our people were all united to bring EVERYBODY down.
