الراعي يدين الممارسات السياسية: تذكي الخلافات وتغطي تعديات السلاح

شدد البطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار بشارة بطرس الراعي على رفض الممارسات السياسية التي تذكي الانقسامات وتغطي التعديات بالسلاح.
وفي عظته في قداس الاحد، رأى الراعي أنه "لا يمكن القبول بما يجري على أرضنا من ممارسات سياسية تفتعل وتذكي الخلافات والانقسامات وتعرقل المؤسسات الدستورية وتنتهك القوانين".
ولفت الى أن هذه الممارسات "تغطي التعديات بالسلاح على الاستقرار الداخلي".
وأضاف أنها "تصب في الاعتداء على الإنسان المواطن وعلى العائلة الدموية وعلى العائلة الوطنية".
يُذكر أن الراعي، كان في وقت سابق قد اعتبر أن فريقي 8 و14 آذار "أطاحا بحياد لبنان وعطلا اجراء الانتخابات ويعطلان تشكيل حكومة جديدة"، لافتاً الى أن هذين الفريقين شوها وجه لبنان وميثاق العيش معا في نزاعهما المتمادي، وأطاحا بحياد لبنان وبـ"اعلان بعبدا"، وتورطا "بالحرب المؤسفة في سوريا".

How about military acts your Eminence?? How about serial killings your Eminence, as a way to gain the upper hand in politics ? How about terrorism and money laundering ? I am going to mmake a similar comment but hopefully in a respectful way.
I personally despise the over-decorated hat and cloth they wear. It make them look aloof and above the masses. I much prefer that they wear something more humble (such as the late Pope II, he looked so divine and so with the common man). But unfortunately in Lebanon appearances are supposed to be a reflection of your status. The status symbol in Lebanon is how well you dress and what you drive.
