U.S. 'Deeply Concerned' about Attacks on Syria Rebel Enclave

The United States said Tuesday it was "deeply concerned" about the escalating Syrian and Russian attacks on the rebel-held enclave of Eastern Ghouta, which have left more than 250 civilians dead in two days.
"The cessation of violence must begin now," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert told reporters, criticizing what she called the "siege and starve tactics" of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
