Report: Berri Committed to Name Hariri for Premiership

Speaker Nabih Berri has reportedly emphasized during his recent talks with officials that naming ex-PM Saad Hariri to form a new government is "a basic need" at this critical stage in Lebanon to prevent attempts to awaken sedition, Saudi Asharq el-Awsat newspaper reported on Thursday.
Sources following the ongoing consultations to name a replacement for caretaker PM Hassan Diab, said that Berri has asserted during talks with Lebanese and foreign officials that Hariri is what the upcoming stage in crisis-hit Lebanon needs.
Berri held talks with Aoun on Wednesday and is set to meet with other officials to accelerate the government formation "under the main heading of reform," said the sources.
They pointed out that there are vigorous efforts ongoing to make a breakthrough before French President Emmanuel Macron returns to Beirut early next month.

Hilarious! Why the change from Portugal to bortugal? (unless you're a troll who stole another troll's ID).
Besides did you know that the Portuguese were the first to enslave African tribes? I don't expect much from slave drivers you know!

Fine. What is President Aoun waiting for to start his binding consultations to name a new Prime Minister ?

All warlords and politicians are history, and should not have any role to play in the future of Lebanon. KHALAS

Nab Berri, the Wile E. Coyotte of Looney Tunes cartoon. Always up to something. he is the kingmaker. Since they all want Saad Hariri, you know something's up.
If Saad Hariri wants to be a statesman, he should not accept under any circumstance. Let them swim in their sewer and try to get out of the mess that they made up. I am not a Saad Hariri supporter as I think he's one of the weakest political figures and his party are just a punching bag for Hizbos and the Oranges.

The same Lebanese corrupt politicians:Berri, Hariri, etc...are still occupying Lebanon, therefore Lebanon will never progress...
