Cabinet Sessions Paused until 'Storm Passes'

Cabinet sessions will not resume any time soon until the political "storm" passes, al-Joumhouria newspaper reported Friday.

Ministerial sources told al-Joumhouria that “we can achieve so many things, if we had a shared vision and a unified national stand.”

“But we lack a vision for building a state,” the sources added.

Counting on domestic financing is “very risky,” the sources went on to say.

“We need foreign currency but we are facing problems with foreign financing.”

Miqati did sweet talk the Lebanese people the first week he was appointed PM by saying he will not hesitate to name those obstructing government sessions and work. Will he dare tell us who is preventing cabinet from holding its much needed meetings?

Of course not!
