Netanyahu Wants Iran Deal to Cover Missile Capacity

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kept up his offensive against the framework nuclear deal with Iran on Tuesday, saying it fails to address Tehran's long-range missile arsenal.

"Why doesn't the framework address Iran's intercontinental ballistic missile program whose sole purpose is to carry nuclear payloads?" he asked on his official Twitter account.

Israel Admits Its Fire Killed Spanish UNIFIL Peacekeeper

Israeli security sources acknowledged on Tuesday that the death of a Spanish U.N. peacekeeper in January was caused by Israeli fire.

"The Spanish soldier was indeed killed by Israel Defense Forces artillery, following a Hizbullah attack on IDF (army) forces that killed two soldiers," a source said on condition of anonymity.

Israel Seizes Electronics Bound for Gaza Militants

Israeli inspectors at a crossing point into the Gaza Strip stopped an attempt to smuggle in hi-tech electronics destined for Palestinian militants, the government said Monday.

Security staff at the Kerem Shalom goods crossing into southern Gaza found the equipment, banned from Gaza under Israeli restrictions, concealed on an Israeli lorry with a permit to take in consumer electronics.
