it's not bashar sayig his situation is so bad he's crying. bashar is winning, bashar is more legitimate than saudi minions, and bashar offered free elections under international observers 1 year ago. it's the rebels, and their leaders abroad (even the syrian rebel leaders are abroad) who know they do not have support of the people so they dont want that. they're not in for democracy, they're not in for the people, they're in for taking power for themselves

you know that from day 1: i never give rebel's words any value, until i can see something for myself. show us videos of the captives, show us images of them manning checkpoints show us anything.

you come back every day, at every new statement of the rebels saying "aha! one more proof!" as if it was a proof... haram man, be smarter than this, they can make 10 statements per day, or per hour, that doesnt mean they are providing the single proof.

the pilgrims who were caught at the beginning of the year were OLD men, UNARMED, and traveling with their wives. FFS if them being fighter is credible to you, than haram 3aleik, all i can say.

the army misbehaved, i have friends in getawi who were first-hand witnesses. this is an error, and the army should discipline the officers who gave these orders (knowing how it works, probably some residents know a high-ranking officer, and asked him to do something about the migrants "who harass their daughters"). This should not happen, and their has to be disciplinary measures.

Having said this, i dont think HRW has any lessons to give us, let them give lessons to israelis about the way they treat palestinians, or to americans about the way they treat iraqis, afghanis etc
or about the many deadly beatings by US policemen against racial minorities on US soil, or the way they treat the "occupy x" protests etc..
