regarding the article at hand, that's a very obvious provocation against russia and syria by turkey. this amounts to plain piracy and theft.
why they are building pressure is also obvious, they want to justify future aggressions, but i think this will backfire in their face. if, say russia, does with Kurds what Turkey has done with Syrian rebels, that will be 16 million reasons for turkey to regret.
