your friend had a square meter in his field plowed for free.. humm... and that should be enough for you to send our country to it's destruction to fight a country who can be our ally?
so i guess you'd agree to attack israel if they cross the security fence?
ont you love it when they first qualify it as an "NGO", then a "watchdog", and only then say it's the london observatory, aka rami abdelrahman?
why do they never say things like they are? it's not an NGO, it's not a watchdog, it's the rebels mouthpiece.
hiding this fact from readers to have them mistake rebel statements for an NGO's statement is, to say the least, suspicious.
if nethanyahu said it, then it's most probably BS, agreed. however, bashar, and his father before him, always refused any deal that wouldnt include a comprehensive solution, including the rights of palestinians.
if ever what netten-yehoo said is true (sometimes they do let out some truth, to make their lies more credible), i wouldnt be surprised if bashar turned it down. any deal which would require abandoning Palestinian rights, or Lebanese ones for that matter, would not be accepted.
AGAMs? what's that?
btw in 82, amongst many other lootings, the isrelis raided the AUB and stole their telescope's lenses, i guess we should go and get those too no?
you're way too emotive peace, to say we should sacrifice our country on the altar of vengeance means you really dont realize what is at stake.
about the eventual result of bashar's overthrowing, i dont need a crystal ball to say it is crystal clear, i have reason:
1-there is only one organized force in the opposition: muslim brotherhood. all others are fragmented and disorganized.
2-we saw what happened in egypt, during the revolution everyone disregarded the warnings that islamists would take over.and then it happened and it was too late. go try to root them out now.
3-in egypt as well, but also all over the world, money wins elections. with the billions and billions that saudis invested to oust bashar, dont you think they will hesitate to send dozens more to buy the eventual elections? in a country that would be just coming out of war, and the population ruined, houses destroyed, do you think the civilians will have the luxury of turning down a check for their vote? in lebanon it's been the case since the 90's and we're still not out of that mentality.
etc etc.. all evidence converge to saying muslim bros/salafis will takeover, nothing indicates they will not
philippo: your progaganda cannot work here, we are locals, we know the local facts, unlike the people you guys usually fool in Europe and the US.
Before israel was created, Jews were never persecuted in Arab countries, and most of them were not kicked out but spontaneously left to go to follow their ideology of promised land and play the "chosen people rule the world" game.
If they are prepared to give up on stealing land and want to come back to Arab countries, please be my guest.
I know in Lebanon we all supported the restoration of the Maghen Abraham Synagogue, and we have nothing against Jews, they can come back if they want.

600 fighters, from lbya, sent a year ago, and it's not bashar saying it, it's the libyans themselve. just imagine how many have been sent since, how many from tunisia, from egypt, from chechnya, the gulf...
Ziad, with all due respect, you really don't seem like you have enough of proper information to form an opinion. Mistaking Golan for Shebaa is pretty glaring...
Please, if you feel concerned by what's going on, do debate and do express yourself, and do disagree with me or whoever you want, but read and learn, go get the facts, dont let a few words heard here and there be the basis for your opinions .
